On May 27th, the ECOFACT project held its 9th and final General Assembly at the Sandymount Hotel in Dublin, Ireland—hosted by consortium partner IMR. This milestone event brought together all project partners not only to share updates on their work packages but also—most importantly—to dedicate time to reviewing the various use cases.
The day began with a warm welcome and opening remarks from Project Coordinator Francisco Morentin (CARTIF). This was followed by a comprehensive overview of Work Package 6 (Demonstration) presented by CERTH, which received significant attention, and an engaging use case discussion led by AB that encouraged active participation from all partners.

After a brief coffee break that allowed for informal networking, TOFAS, ARÇELIK, and GULLÓN also presented their respective use cases. Each demonstration sparked lively conversations, with participants analysing the specific situations, debating potential solutions, and discussing outcomes.
In the afternoon, the floor was opened to the remaining partners, who presented progress updates on key technical areas such as holistic monitoring and data acquisition, energy and resource management systems, and the development of the ECOFACT platform and ICT framework. These sessions highlighted problem-solving experiences and outlined next steps for post-project continuity.

The assembly concluded with a collaborative discussion on final reflections and suggestions for future initiatives—including final preparations for the concluding event scheduled for the following day—marking a successful wrap-up to the ECOFACT project’s collaborative journey.
