ECOFACT engaged at the European Sustainable Energy Days, reaffirming its commitment to driving energy efficiency and sustainable practices. The two events, on May 16th and June 28th, provided a valuable platform for ECOFACT to showcase its innovative approaches and contributions to the energy-efficient manufacturing landscape.

Let’s dive into the highlights:

IMR’s Sustainable Energy Day: Engaging Industry & Community

Teaming up with Irish Manufacturing Research (IMR) and Mullingar Sustainable Energy Community (MSEC), ECOFACT had a presence through its IMR partners and visual communication, including a banner, at the “Sustainable Energy Day: Engaging Industry & Community.” Held on June 28th as part of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), this event provided a gathering point for industry leaders, professionals, researchers, engineers, manufacturers, and local residents. A notable highlight included Paulo Lissa’s presentation on the transformative impact of digital technology in bolstering energy efficiency.

EU Sustainable Energy Week Workshop

On May 16th, ECOFACT, alongside DENiM and ENERMAN, actively participated in a workshop during the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2023. The session, titled “Holistic Management Platforms for Energy-Efficient Manufacturing: H2020 Project Insights and Case Studies,” provided a deep dive into each project’s overview. ECOFACT’s presentation, delivered by Francisco Morentin, from CARTIF, delved into our project’s intricacies. The workshop featured an enlightening round table discussion, addressing challenges and solutions encountered in demo sites.
