Recently, some members of the ECOFACT project visited the Tofaş demo site in Turkey. Tofaş manufactures both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, find out more about Tofaş in our Demo Site Spotlight article.
On the trip there were representatives from CARTIF, FRAUNHOFER, CIRCE, SCHNEİDER ELECTRİC and LİNKS. The aim of the visit was to gain an understanding into the current process and machinery used in the TOFAS building. The team took photos of specific equipment/machinery required in project deliverables, gained insights into the various software & technology used and also discussed with Tofaş personnel involved in the sustainability and environmental activities
Overall, it was a beneficial trip and we look forward to sharing further updates on our work with Tofaş and the relevant work packages.
